This policy explains what data we collect on microbbeats.com, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Italian law.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, username, email address and a password (stored in protected form).
- Order data: billing details, items bought, order history and downloads.
- Payment data: payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Messages: what you write in the contact form, with your name, email and any link you share.
- Project files: recordings, stems or briefs you send us for Mixing & Mastering or a Custom Beat.
- Newsletter: your email address, only if you subscribe.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and cookies needed for the website to work. [add analytics or marketing tools here if you use them]
Why we use your data and on what basis
- To provide the service and deliver your order (performance of a contract).
- To manage your account and reply to your messages (contract, or steps before a contract).
- To comply with tax and accounting law (legal obligation).
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud and spam (our legitimate interest).
- To send our newsletter (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Transfers outside the EU
Some providers, such as Stripe, may process data outside the European Economic Area. When this happens we rely on safeguards allowed by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account data: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Order and invoice data: 10 years from the date of the order, as required by Italian tax and accounting law. We keep it even if you ask us to delete your account, because the law requires it.
- Messages (email and contact form): 24 months from the last message.
- Files you upload for Mixing & Mastering and Custom Beat: 12 months after delivery, then we delete them. Files uploaded but not paid for are deleted after 3 days.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to some uses. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use your rights, write to contact@microbbeats.com.
You also have the right to complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies

Children
Our website and services are not aimed at children. If you think a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. When a change is important we will tell you on the website or by email.
